The design of Bay Mansion is uncompromisingly contemporary, made for comfortable and discrete living. It offers a distinct style and atmosphere, integrating the daily experience of its unique natural exterior into its 21st century interior. Comprised of a series of individual but interconnected pavilions that are spread across the site, Bay Mansion adapts its scale to its context depending on the viewpoint and appears to dissolve into it. The pavilions contain the different private quarters and are each connected to a central area that houses the common functions like living, dining, bar and sports. A vaulted ceiling that emulates traditional Russian architecture spans the common area, thus marking the various functions. The Mansion will be constructed in concrete, and finished in natural stone, wood, polyester and mosaics.
